It was all a dream, I used to read Highlights Magazine...
It came to me in a dream.... The blogs to come will be social justice adaptations of standard fairytales. I am excited for this journey. Hope you are too.
fairy tales of princesses falling asleep under a spell, only to be awoken by the kiss of a prince...these stories never bothered me until I had my daughter 15 years ago. Only then did I start to understand how wrong it is to have a perfect stranger take advantage of and kiss a young woman who is passed out for whatever reason. Never thought fairy tales would breed rape culture.
